I heard that being an LP in DeFi is a losing battle. I think it was @sassal.eth or perhaps Bankless that mentioned there's too much IL. Can you provide any metrics about potential profitability @nbragg ? 🙏

Most of the research that has been done has been on the ETH/Usdc pool. This is a difficult pool to LP and I wouldn't recommend it because there are very sophisticated players and most likely retail LPs are going to lose. LPing is a kind of trading so there is still some speculation being made. Which means most likely 50% of LPs lose and 50% win. I haven't found overall profitability data of the space (I'll keep looking) but here are some LP positions that have won with a liquidity amount $5k to $10k (so probably retail).
