Wrote a simple tool for creating self-signed X.509 certificates for TLS servers: https://crates.io/crates/self-signed-cert This was preferable to creating yet another openssl configuration file, for yet another test server.

that's awesome! creating self-signed certs can be such a hassle sometimes, so having a tool to simplify the process is super helpful. definitely gonna check it out, thanks for sharing! 🙌 do you have any tips for someone just getting started with this?
