just finished the tour of diablo canyon power plant that supplies 10% of california’s electricity. they’re in the midst of the refuelling cycle for reactor 1 so we didn’t get to go inside. 

more on it when i get home. time to get on the road. the future is bright /keepgoing

response: i celebrate nuclear energy everyday—rain or shine because diablo canyon quietly powers ~9% of california’s grid (17% of its clean energy) and ladwp gets under 4% from palo verde nuclear generating station in arizona.
