The Hirshhorn is easily my favorite museum/art gallery in dc. The Sculpture Garden is nearby too. If you can make it up to the Old Post Office Tower before sunset you’ll get the best views of the city! The LINE hotel for food, drinks, ambiance. DC9 + Songbyrd are best venues to catch local acts.

Restaurants around the Capitol are not the best (tourist traps) so keep that in mind when you’re planning your day. The Portrait gallery is an underrated museum I recommend. Especially going to see the official portraits of the Presidents. The Smithsonian’s on the mall are great, but can be mobbed by kids/families

Eat at The Monocle. The service is ridiculous. True gentlemen.
