reading about today’s outages reminds me: in many countries i’ve traveled — vietnam, honduras, uganda, mozambique — electricity isn’t something you assume. it’s rationed, rolling, sometimes missing for days. it shapes how you move, work, think.

energy is invisible, yet it touches every part of life: light, water, communication, safety, dignity.
