Hume (+$10M raised: Top 4800 for 3 quests👀 !)
I’m a bit late to the party, but while doing quests on Layer 3, I noticed that Hume kept popping up. I initially faded it due to minting costs.
In the end, the total cost isn’t that high, but the base price still limits usage, as each quest costs over $2, with about three-quarters refunded.
To keep it short: I spent between $0.5 and $0.8 per quest to:
Mint 2 NFTs on Hume
Mint 1 NFT on Layer 3
Complete a quest on Hume
So, a solid on-chain footprint with farming on Base, Layer 3, and Hume. The bet is getting interesting!
But the coolest part? Hume raised $11.7M in September 2022. If we compare that to today, it would be worth over $45M with BTC at $80K!! (BTC was at $20K in September 2022)
Anyway, I ended up completing all the quests partially refunded by Layer 3—because without Layer 3, there’s no reward, making the risk/reward less attractive...
