Curious does Sound realise how monopolistic their approach is for a protocol, they've build everything aside from asset itself offchain, own identity, own graph, own context (comments), they don't even have url support for something like chain/address/id its crazy, everything is funnelled to a centralised entity

Reality is moving faster on core product while keeping the ethos of the platform true (creator owned contracts, payments on chain, assets permanent, allows us to test and iterate faster to figure out what works.

Overall PMF is the goal and were not there yet so having the core relationship of music, aritst and collectors while balancing new experiments (social, comments, etc) feels like the right tradeoff before we over invest.

URL support is one we should fix. thats not intentional.

We use public address and ens, but have our own internal display names. you can access any profile with /user/address or ens.

Comments and context thats bc still waiting for some of the social protocols to mature before we implement (we looked into it).
