Blob timing games, trying to decouple the blob delivery as much as possible from the rivalrous blockspace. Also possibility to have different agents responsible for delivery of block and delivery of blob, less bundling, maybe more market dynamism?

both good points (second more longer-term structural concern)

on the first point, interesting idea but i'm also curious to see what the distribution & composition of blob users will be like in a few weeks, and their posting strategies first. market could self-equilibrate

I don’t doubt it will equilibrate but if it equilibrates at a higher price for blobs than it should be, then it’s bad. Higher than it should be in the sense that blobs incur negative externalities from a market they could be separated from in some cases. The cases where they can’t be separated are tricky tho
