The Bear Case for Rocket Pool https://mirror.xyz/abranti.eth/I3zyd_QjTw6zIPhy7ypcup-FUvo6j6yD9RXeN8dZUyQ I am a builder, I like to focus on the positive and replace the negative by building. As an exception, I wrote a negative post on Rocket Pool. Hope this leads to constructive debate and helps the protocol improve.

Iβd like to see Rocket Pool find a way to let node operators have a some or all of their ETH be somewhat liquid. It would make the RPL pill easier to swallow.

Your suggestion of a competitor using an LST as collateral is interesting, but doesnβt that get into the realm of a restaking infinite loop? It sounds like leveraging stETH in a loop and increasing the risk of liquidation.

It simply means that your collateral is being staked by a NO in the protocol (it could also be you). You are entitled to that collateral and its yield (without the commissions) however if you misbehave you donβt get to claim that eth back.
