Back in 2014, we drove out to Little Tujunga Canyon to skate this incredible spot. As we were setting up, I heard a truck pull up in the distance. A man stepped out holding a shotgun. Turns out, this little community of properties was robbed the night before… “Just because I won’t shoot you doesn’t mean my neighbor won’t” he said. That was our warm-up to the spot. After battling this front blunt for a while and about to give up, I remember Jake Dooley saying something like, “First last try.” That was the only reason I landed this front blunt. Thanks Jake. And thanks to Ty Evans and James Buckman for including this clip in We Are Blood. I kept finding myself riding back to the canyons. It was my reset, just outside of LA. This photo below, The Road Is Life, shot by Jillian Bachinsky is now available as a 5 tez open edition until 8 PM tonight, with proceeds going to support LA communities impacted by the recent fires.
