Back in 2014, we drove out to Little Tujunga Canyon to skate this incredible spot. As we were setting up, I heard a truck pull up in the distance. A man stepped out holding a shotgun. Turns out, this little community of properties was robbed the night before… “Just because I won’t shoot you doesn’t mean my neighbor won’t” he said. That was our warm-up to the spot. After battling this front blunt for a while and about to give up, I remember Jake Dooley saying something like, “First last try.” That was the only reason I landed this front blunt. Thanks Jake. And thanks to Ty Evans and James Buckman for including this clip in We Are Blood. I kept finding myself riding back to the canyons. It was my reset, just outside of LA.
