Steve Caballero’s pool line (Roll Forever #3) in the Algo Norte pool was the first pool line that ever was edited to loop infinitely. Since he invented the Caballero (a fakie 360), I always envisioned filming him in another pool for the #60th release—and the moment has aligned for the 3️⃣6️⃣0️⃣ These legends have not only shaped skateboarding history but have laid the foundation for so many tricks we see today. Cab is credited with being the first one to land a frontside boardslide and Eddie inventing the frontside rock-and-roll, the fakie ollie, the frontside invert! Both of these pool lines were filmed in the classic Combi Pool design, a pool that symbolizes the early 80’s skateboarding roots and evolution.
