Multi-chain smart contract network Astar Network will burn 350 million ASTR, equivalent to 5% of the total token supply, according to recent governance voting results. The above token space was initially allocated for parachain auctions, a product that was abandoned by Polkadot. These 350 million tokens collected 70 million ASTR in rewards, and will now be transferred to the community treasury.
