Honestly, they should just tell people ETHDenver is three weeks long with the second week being the official programming. Side-event organizers need to chill and spread things out.

@gabo
Its a subject of every conference. We can see it from /poap creation events. Then regular rules applies. Quality > quantity. Content is not equal everywhere I ve been thinking about this a lot and there is no obvious path but organic maturity of an ecosystem that will have more skewed content on the agenda. The basic definition of the problem is: - All projects want visibility - Very few want to pay “much thousands” for a booth - you can do a side event for 15% of the pricetag

There is also strong tactics leveraging some flaws in lu.ma right now @gabo and @darrylyeo by event organisers around hosting an event. 1. You set up a event and now have a constant but in-direct CRM channel to a bunch of people (knowing everyone signs up for everything). 2. Help keep you top of mind for crypto crowd by making updates that end up in emails/notifications. e.g. change the event name or time of event or feedback etc. 3. You can't unsubscribe from the event organiser only lu.ma which no one wants to do and miss vital info on events.

@darrylyeo
Makes perfect sense. Every conference is inherently one big battle for attention.
