Any TypeScript gurus in the house who can help me troubleshoot this? What am I fundamentally misunderstanding about type parameters / conditionals here?

Would be nice if Warpcast let me post absurdly long URLs such as TypeScript playgrounds.

It would actually be super simple for Warpcast to build tbh. That’s what a lot of other platforms do for the same reason.

Not sure if this helps, but you could use discriminated unions to do some narrowing on async values. E.g. something like https://tinyurl.com/tr2srwd6
