He shows setting up the overhook from a grip break in closed guard. While this is a good entry, you only catch people with it a couple of times.

I really like setting up this grip from bottom half guard when I can’t secure an under hook. Recompose guard with the OH and trap his arm. Good stuff!

I’m not a particularly large guy, and there are some big dudes in my gym. Marcos Tinoco’s play style resonates with me because it solves lots of the problems related to size disparity.
