Always hopelessly cured by books like this.Many writers, are failures in life, with miserable childhoods and family bondage, a lifelong shackle; few, like Beauvoir, feel happy with their lives from start to finish:“If what was happening in the world tortured me, I would want to change the world, not my place in the world.”
