All the good games are. Here is another q: why aren’t pen and paper rpg games more popular?

That sounds fun. I think the issue is that good GMs don’t scale. A good GM and group beats graphics every time.

They were best for the era of technology. Its too easy to have dope graphics now, which are the best for the current era of technology

Pen and paper is fun, and I run mine on paper but also multimedia assisted (my Midjourney game is very strong)
