Urbanist thinking about open space, open access, and open web

tech is neutral, and it's value system will reflect the values of those who build it. luckily, hackers can build crypto systems with very little resources and distribute it to the world. however, AI is very resource intensive, thus it's development is controlled by giant tech corps. how do we co-opt or disrupt AI dev?

what's your thoughts on the US censorship of educational materials and the mainstream media? should we promote counter-narratives from within the culture and fight directly against censorship, or start at the margins of society where there is less oversight and work inward?

i feel that the combination of alternative economics (e.g. crypto and BRICS), the expiration of the petro-dollar deal between the US and Saudi Arabia, plus internal pressures on the US government can break its hegemony and birth a multi-polar world once more. But we need to organize like hell across borders.
