"Motivational" influencers claiming depression and anxiety issues aren't real are like flat earthers.

As someone with diagnosed OCD, it’s been my experience that if people haven’t experienced it or can’t imagine experiencing it, they’re quick to dismiss or downplay it. 

I don’t understand why though.
