This might be the most brutal and gore anime I’ve seen so far! A decade has passed since I watched it, but nothing has surpassed the disturbing death scenes in this series. I used to cover my eyes whenever there was a scene involving dismemberment. It’s shocking how it was allowed to air w/o censorship back then

It is gruesome and also really good. But compare to 80's 90's animes it is really mild lol.

Oh actually there is some famous and iconic animes from those decades like Akira,Wicked city or Devilman series not the netflix one lol and some not very well known ones that i would list now: Genocyber,violence jack, apocalypse zero, vampire hunter D and... Oh fist of the north star is also a nice one. I grew up with it. Don't know how my family let me watch it lol
