 I joined in april and tbh i heard about farcaster cus of degen. So imagine what my main focus would have been on joining and i felt like i was meant to engage every post.

Took up to two months for me to start really understanding farcaster and that was when i just decided to be myself and i saw that there were changes in how i was connecting, compared to when i just joined farcaster

It was way harder and frustrating when i wasn’t being authentic

I ageee to this statement. I remember i tried to pew pew for a week or two. I had a good engagement but something felt off. I had a long break due to health issues but i think im in a good direction now. Im sure most of my frens are real and actually found a good circle of frens from all around the world. I hope new users could survive also and find their tribes. Forget about initial profits because human connection is the thing that remains. Money will come automatically too

Exactly. And those accs would never comeback for any other thing. Just the milking thing. Actually i dont know how many are bots tbh. But this way its much better. I saw many times that people are reading and joining convos in long threads. I love it and thats when i know cool i found a new real fren. I believe soon we will pass these stages like paid group. I didnt see it in my timeline even before the changes. In the ends real talks and genuine people will remain. I bet on it

an easy comparison is, say, a wake dialog thread with people sharing ideas, going back and forth, doing stuff...

and a moneygun growth account with farmers interacting. LLMs, shallow contributions, pandering... boring and insufferable bullshit.

but some Farcasters literally can't tell the difference. that's the crazy thing to me 😂
