Which path did you take ? In ds2 the main problem is the hoard of enemies and they relentless pursuit lol After this I suggest to go back to basics and start from ds remastered. Demon souls for ps5 is also nice but you won’t see any of those mechanics anymore

I went with warrior but I’m trying to build a very balanced character with sorcery abilities to. Mobs are very tough, you have to walk slow to activate and then run back. I’ve heard the mobs in scholar are even worse than the vanilla ds2 and I’m playing the scholar version. It’s rough 😂

My first play throughs are mostly unga bunga builds lol. Melee is good in ds2 but Bows are your best friends. Magic is also super Op. scholar is fun also. But the best parts are dlcs. ( your ass will get kicked hard but dlc bosses lol) if you had problem with any of them you can summon me also ( if you are playing on PlayStation)
