Don't hate it man! I spend a ton of time teaching people animation and its tools. Love to spread the knowledge and for people to be able to tell stories through drawings. I use Toonboom Harmony, bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it you can do anything. This is what we used on Rick and Morty!

I find clip studio paint pretty easy to use for my animations. I'm gonna take the leap soon tho into learning toon boom

It's an excellent tip, I still draw in illustrator frame by frame to get a sequential animation in after Effects, I need to optimize time
