As is typical for me, I'm returning to this cast long after it was shared. I'm a slow cast-reader, slow responder, AND a slow writer. 

This is exactly what I needed to read today. So affirming to hear other writers talk about how they handle their own lengthy creative processes.

I'm in the "need to spend a long time to produce great work" camp, which doesn't get as much fanfare as the productivity gurus. 

But it's more than that: it's also that I just enjoy it more when I proceed slowly and think things through at leisure. Even for casts!
