Correct: "DON-i-ca," with a short O and the accent on the first syllable. 

Incorrect: "DAN-i-ca," where the first syllable rhymes with "man".

Easiest way to remember is that it rhymes with Monica.

No worries! I don't get testy if people pronounce it a different way; most people default to the second pronunciation, which would be correct in other cases.

I just figure it makes sense to put the word out in advance whenever I have a chance.
