(Weirdly, this comment was hidden from the thread, and didn't appear in my Warpcast notifs at all. I think they're over-indexing on hiding potential spammers right now, and people with newer accounts who are engaging in good faith are getting caught in the crossfire).

Weird. We've been mutual follows for quite awhile, too, and have chatted back-and-forth before.
