That's the last appeal court in Washington, DC.

This aligns entirely with how AI and algorithms have been managed so far. I did my PhD in Genetic Programming, and researchers used these algorithms to create solutions that were the same or even better than the patented version (Sony's stabilizer algorithm). The solutions could not be patented or copyrighted, which was interesting because AI could be used to fight back against patents and copyrights.
