Yes. I switched around 3 years ago. Still use Illustrator sometimes though to create fonts or design elements for animation.

you should look up a software called affinity designer if you’re all about illustration like me, you might like them. They have a perpetual license so it’s a one-time purchase. I bought mine around 2022 and I love it.
