The 5-hour shutdown of the Solana network last week was the 5th longest outage in its history. Solana has always prioritized scalability over decentralization. There are 1,700 active validators securing the Solana network. In comparison, Ethereum has over 900K.

Why was I following 61 people by default on this app? I thought this was suppose to be decentralized, and yet, someone decided these 61 people don't have to build a digital reputation from the ground up like everyone else? This was saddening to see. I unfollowed everyone except @dwr.eth and @vitalik.eth.
