Horrible yet funny facts about Iran (4) In Iran, we’re not just living life, we’re speedrunning through economic history. Stuff that takes other countries 200-300 years? We smash through it in a decade or so. Efficiency, right? 15 years ago I bought a car. Today that same amount of money got me a T-shirt. Give it another couple of years, and I’ll be using it to buy a pack of gum, maybe even a single stick, who knows? The kicker? In just 15 years, we’ve had 7,900% inflation that’s over 3x the U.S. inflation of 200 years. I guess we’re really ambitious like that, always setting new records but no one’s clapping

I'm so sorry to hear that 😿 I lived the same awful situation when I used to live in my country in Venezuela a couple years ago😵💫😵💫 and then I moved out to Argentina and also the inflation is out of control 🥲 specially this last year. Haha sometimes I feel like that, but at least you have a better quality of life in here if you got the money to spend on your basic things, in Venezuela I never had any quality of life, the last 3 years in there I've been doing big lines at the supermarket for 3 - 4 hours or even more just to buy basic things like paper toilet 😵💫😵💫 also dealing every single day with very slow internet and blackout so it was very difficult to work on internet, study or whatever. About my next destination I still looking for a good country to go 😅 and I know what you mean about your local currency 😿 200 $Degen
