Quick update: Today I took Lil Grey to the vet because it had been a week since he’d eaten almost anything 😔 It’s also been a week since his leg fracture💔 and I was worried he might have an issue in his mouth, like inflamed gums or ulcers, but everything was fine. The problem was actually stomach pain, likely from the medication causing acidity. He was also very dehydrated, so they gave him subcutaneous fluids along with a gastric and liver protector. When we got home, after a while, he showed interest in food and for the first time he ate on his own 🥺🙏🏻🙏🏻 That’s a huge step forward, especially since another vet suggested hospitalization. But I refuse to do that because I know he’d just get depressed, and that would make things worse for him.
