In the US presidential race, crypto companies have become one of the largest donors in 2024, spending hundreds of millions to support candidates. And as President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration approaches on January 20, cryptocurrency organizations continue to actively fund political spending. Thus, crypto business leaders are fighting not only for Trump’s personal attention, but also for a place on the cryptocurrency advisory board, Bloomberg writes, citing its own sources. It is expected that the cryptocurrency advisory council will consist of two dozen representatives of the blockchain market who are able to influence the political decisions of the new administration.
