My first post here. Figured it should only be fit for the king of books. Just picked this book up today. My first AF15. I’ve had my eye on this book since I was a kid. I’m an avid collector of books, cards, original comic art, toys. Anything that can be collected. I shut my collectibles business down earlier this year after a massive usps/ebay debacle. It cost me a lot of money and eBay did nothing to protect me. 100s of my shipments were “lost” by usps so I had to refund nearly everyone that purchased in January and February. Most of the shipments magically showed up months later after I refunded the buyers. So basically people got free cards and I got saddled with the costs along with the negative feedback which eBay wouldn’t remove. Still a little salty ngl I also already didn’t like the business side of collectibles so I’m going back to the other side as a collector. It was a really difficult decision but I’m happier today than I was the day before I shut the business down.

wait, what... i never would’ve guessed you could be a collector, on top of that.. you actually ran the business?? wowow still, i’m really sorry to hear you had to shut it down... i can only imagine it wasn’t just a business, but also something you were passionate about..

All good. Time heals all wounds. I get excited about collecting again which I haven’t felt in a while. Been looking at auctions again, reaching out to dealers. @collectorscanyon.eth got me excited about pokemon cards a few nights ago. Almost picked up a first edition MTG card this week. Stuff I haven’t even thought about doing in a long time.

hahaha @collectorscanyon.eth is seriously good at convincing, for real... i told him i’m not a collector, and he said, "we’re collecting memories, time, experiences..." and just like that, i was sold! hahaha hope you’re enjoying collecting again!

Trust me boss, I'm speaking from experience The dude @collectorscanyon.eth is super cool He actually reignited my passion for creating and collecting because frens made me feel weird until I met him He will always say that "creators are collectors and collectors are creators" 😅✨ Now I'm dedicated to building with him Once again, welcome BDE🙌🏾
