Crypto blogger Ben Armstrong (known as BitBoy) and NBA star Jimmy Butler have offered a total payout of $340,000 to settle a class action lawsuit for promoting Binance. The complaint alleges that the crypto exchange sold unregistered securities. On August 19, the influencers' lawyers asked the court for preliminary approval of the deal, which would put an end to the proceedings. Both denied any wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement to avoid wasting time and money in litigation.
