Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov confirmed to Reuters that many Russian companies are now using Bitcoin to conduct international transactions and circumvent Western sanctions. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, recently introduced Bitcoin as a suitable alternative to the US dollar as a reserve currency.
