Which of the following would you take a bet on and why? A. a founder that pivots to completely new ideas every 3 months B. a founder that doesnโ€™t pivot at all for 3 years (but is yet to see any positive traction inspite of the product being good in theory)

I'd choose the first founder especially if it's a new project. Which kind of founder would you choose.

Does โ€˜Aโ€™ stop on the right ideas and see them through, or no?

Itโ€™s actually a combination of both. A founder who is open to new ideas every 3 months but can keep the overall direction and strategy in mind. Being open to A in order to achieve the goals of B.

A - all day Very few Bs would actually be right At least A is taking multiple shots on goal and finding a way forward The caveat is a small % of B will change the world - but the idea has to be so contrairion, it can't feel remotely rational otherwise they wouldn't go that long without traction - skill issue

Interesting question A. Doesnโ€™t have a product yet and is searching for one for the market B. Has a product but is looking for the right market Ideally - B at this point would get some advisors to help pivot the product and make it more relevant So B

A definitely, this is because the founder is willing to adjust their approach indicating adaptabilityโ€ฆAnotger reason is because frequent pivots suggest willingness to experiment and explore increasing the chances of getting a successful ideaโ€ฆWhich one would you bet on? @cybershakti

Iโ€™ll take a bet on B because - it shows the founder is consistent with their idea and ready to make efforts - itโ€™s possible the founder might still be learning but I feel with persistent efforts comes breakthroughs What would you bet on?
