Which of the following would you take a bet on and why? A. a founder that pivots to completely new ideas every 3 months B. a founder that doesn’t pivot at all for 3 years (but is yet to see any positive traction inspite of the product being good in theory)

Does β€˜A’ stop on the right ideas and see them through, or no?

I'd choose the first founder especially if it's a new project. Which kind of founder would you choose.

It’s actually a combination of both. A founder who is open to new ideas every 3 months but can keep the overall direction and strategy in mind. Being open to A in order to achieve the goals of B.

A - all day Very few Bs would actually be right At least A is taking multiple shots on goal and finding a way forward The caveat is a small % of B will change the world - but the idea has to be so contrairion, it can't feel remotely rational otherwise they wouldn't go that long without traction - skill issue
