woke up to 400+ bot followers. this sort of experience kills user trust on a platform. until this is fixed Iād rather go private and use something like follower requests

Enable priority mode from notification settings. So you'll only get notifications when power users follow. For other users you'll need to go to follows tabs to see. Out of two priority mode i find notification one actually more useful.
