Then I moved to Verona: The city of love, immortalized by Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” I stood on Juliet’s balcony, imagining the tragic romance. Verona’s ancient amphitheater, Arena di Verona, hosted captivating operas under the stars. The Adige River winding through the city adds a poetic touch.

My first destination was Milan: The fashion capital dazzled me with its elegance. The magnificent Duomo di Milano, adorned with spires and statues, left me in awe. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a stunning glass-roofed arcade, felt like stepping into a fairytale. Milan’s energy is vibrant, modern, and cosmopolitan.
