As for bleepybloops, I enjoyed listening to that the other day. I'll be posting up some articles I wrote at some point about the nature of the sublime in art, and the first and foremost appreciation within that is always "novelty" which is where memes as art thrive, but when you start adding the other layers the appreciation window gets slimmer and slimmer

I always try to remember that half the population are below the average IQ, and if you're making high IQ work it will only be appreciated by those who see the world within that particular window within which you exist. When they get it, they get you, and in turn feel seen. That's not for everybody
