I found my childhood baseball equipment (bats/batting gloves/gloves/etc) while cleaning out the attic and spent the morning hitting Waffles and Brie some tennis balls in the yard.

It seems like all retrievers love balls.

Yes! They love them. When I was a child we had a yellow lab seeing-eye dog for the blind that we were training and they wouldn’t allow him to play with balls. He became our pet after he failed training and loved them for the rest of his life.

A retriever that failed guide dog training must have had such a bright personality and loved people so much. I also had tons of tennis balls at home, but Jindol popped them all. lol

Yes, he was a great pet, lots of great memories of him. His name was Judd, here is a picture of him with his tennis balls 😂 Waffles also pops tennis balls so we don’t let her have them when we’re done playing.
