so 1-500 token ids are pet owners? I noticed the interesting way they were getting minted when the mint was runnning

What did you notice? I minted a handful and only one was a top 500 so I assume it was pretty randomized

I noticed token IDs started at 500, and every so often some would mint 1-500. I looked into the contract, the petOwnerId variable starts at 0 and is used to assign token IDs to pet owners, but nonPetOwnerId variable starts at MAX_PET_OWNERS (which is set to 501) and is used to assign token IDs to non-pet owners.

During the minting process, when a token is randomly assigned as a pet owner (I think about a 16.6% chance), it uses the petOwnerId counter to assign the token ID. So pet owner tokens will have token IDs ranging from 0 to 499 . But non-pet owner tokens will have token IDs starting from 501+. Could be wrong though π
