find it kind of funny that the AI guys, while largely intolerable, are trying to deprecate labor and fundamentally change society

while the cumulative sum of 10's of billions of investment in crypto has tried to... produce a competing bank with lower fees and bypass gambling laws

are we cooked? why are we doing all this? what will we tell our descendants?

I realise I read this completely differently:

Crypto: remove the need for deeply entrenched power structures and middlemen

Ai: take jobs of minimum wage workers

crypto has removed more wealth from the lower and middle class and transferred it directly to the upper class than pretty much any financial instrument in history

AI is producing real tools that people are using, cars that drive themselves, medicine/diagnostic tooling, research

what on god's green earth do we have to show for our time?
