I’m speechless I had no idea how much land area permafrost makes up… how many cities, towns, roads, are built on permafrost… It’s likely they could just sink into the ground because of climate change, releasing enough greenhouse gas to trap earth in a hot house state. Russia’s landmass is 65% permafrost.

People’s lives are at risk and yet all our fucking politicians think matters is the GDP and economic indicators. They would rather WE BURN THAN DO SOMETHING THAT WOULD MAKE ELITES LESS RICH
