Iām also having second thoughts about creators tokenizing everything they create. Yes, tokenization introduces a new monetization model where you can earn money, instead of just collecting vanity ālikesā on Web2 social media. It gives followers a chance to have skin in the game and potentially profit if theyāre early. But this model has a high chance of leading to tons of slop being created, drowning out the content that actually matters. Iām increasingly realizing that hyper-monetization strips away the conversational nature of social media, and its true impact ends up being tied to how much monetary value it generates. Donāt get me wrong, Iām all for creators finding ways to earn from what they do best. But crypto often turns everything into value extraction, and I see that happening here too. It could push away real creators, who may no longer see this as an opportunity. We need to figure out how to break this vicious cycle. Again, this is a dilemma and I am trying to learn more.

Tokenizing every post risks turning social feeds into stock tickers not conversations.
