the outrage over "Ethereum doesn't use ETH to do anything but dump!" is an indictment of the actual use cases of DeFi more than anything what is there for a large business to do onchain? you want them apeing shitcoins? providing liquidity for shitcoins? because that's what 95% of DeFi activity is based around
