According to The Blcok, Vana, a web3 startup that aims to build a network of user-owned data pools, announced a new $5 million raise, bringing its total funding to $25 million. This round of strategic financing was led by Coinbase Ventures and participated by Paradigm. Paradigm led the company's $18 million Series A round. DAOs in the Vana network will allow members to aggregate data accumulated from the use of social media platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, or X, and monetize it by selling it to AI researchers. Vana's main network is not yet online, and Reddit Dao is the only one fully operational, with about 140,000 users joining. 0 reply
