XRP is the Meme Coin No One Wants to Admit It Is đ§ Alright, hot take incoming. XRP has officially crossed the line into meme coin territory. Yeah, I said it. Letâs look at the facts: once upon a time, XRP was marketed as the serious player that was going to revolutionize cross-border payments, banking the unbanked, and blah blah. Fast forward to now, and whatâs keeping this thing alive? A lawsuit thatâs dragged on longer than in a bear market. Instead of pushing the envelope with real-world adoption or innovation, itâs all about the âwill they, wonât theyâ SEC drama. Thatâs straight-up meme coin vibes, folks. 𤥠(1/2)

Not to mention, the market cap. People love flashing XRPâs high market cap like itâs a badge of honor. But letâs be real, that number doesnât tell you the full story. Market cap is just a product of multiplying total supply by current price, and when most of the supply is locked up by Ripple, is it really that impressive? Or is it more of an illusion that keeps retail traders holding bags? đ¨ Also, hereâs something to chew on: XRP traders hate the idea of it being classified as a security. But think about itâwouldnât XRP actually pump more if it were a security? It would need to reflect the value of Ripple Labs. Instead, if itâs just a coin/commodity/currency, shouldnât the price stay stable like other similar assets? đ¤ˇââď¸ TL;DR: XRP = meme coin with a fancy lawsuit. Change my mind.
