Data security platform Aleo will launch a testnet tester incentive program from July 1 to 15. The goal of this incentive program is to validate the coinbase reward mechanism and the underlying puzzle. To achieve this goal, Aleo Network Foundation will provide certifiers with 1 million points. Each prover will receive mainnet points proportional to the number of testnet points they earned during the incentive period. Minimum reward is 1,000 mainnet points; Any endorser earning less than this amount will not be eligible for the reward.

The announcement states that points earned during this incentive period will be distributed after the mainnet launch. Aleo Points will be used as a payment mechanism for Aleo's main network services.
