Fig, or fig, or fig tree, or common fig, or fig (lat. Fícus cárica), is a subtropical deciduous plant of the genus Ficus of the Tuto family. Carian ficus is named after the place that is considered to be the family of figs - a mountainous region of ancient Karia, a province of Asia Minor. In Central Asia, in the Caucasus, in Sochi, in the Carpathians, in the Crimea, and even in the Central Zone of Russia (with the right selection of varieties and care), they are grown in the open ground as a valuable fruit plant that produces fruits - wine berries.
